Bringing Birth Home
Pregnancy is not a medical event, it is a profound physical, emotional, and psychological initiation. Birth, in turn, asks you to access a depth of strength most women have never been invited to meet before. My role is to help you arrive there feeling informed, resourced, and deeply supported.
This is not conveyor-belt care. It is attentive, relationship-led support that centres you, your instincts, and the kind of birth experience you want to move toward.
Bringing Birth Home: Home Birth Preparation
Together, we explore how birth works physiologically, psychologically, and emotionally so you understand what your body is designed to do and how to work with it.
We focus on practical tools that make a real difference, combining yoga and antenatal education into one powerful course:
-
Understanding the hormonal blueprint of labour
-
Positioning and movement to support optimal birth physiology
-
Breath and nervous system regulation
-
Comfort measures and natural pain coping techniques
-
Partner preparation so you feel supported as a team
-
Navigating choices with clarity and confidence
-
Releasing fear and building trust in your body
You will learn how to soften where it matters, stay grounded under intensity, and remain connected to yourself as labour unfolds. Each practice supports:
-
Physical readiness for labour and birth
-
Emotional steadiness
-
Mental resilience
-
Deep relaxation
-
Connection with your baby
-
Confidence in your body’s capability
Continuous Birth Support
When labour begins, you will not be wondering who is in your corner, you will know.
I provide steady, experienced attendance throughout your birth, offering calm guidance, hands-on comfort, advocacy when needed, and a grounding presence in what can sometimes feel like intense territory. My focus is simple: protecting your space so you can stay inward and do the work of birthing your baby.
Support may include:
-
Creating a calm birth environment
-
Physical comfort measures and body-based support
-
Encouragement that is both gentle and anchoring
-
Helping you stay connected to your preferences
-
Supporting partners so they can support you
-
Holding perspective if plans need to shift
You deserve to feel safe, respected, and deeply supported , wherever and however you give birth.
Because preparation changes everything. When a woman approaches birth feeling strong, informed, and well accompanied, the experience has the potential to be not just manageable, but profoundly empowering.

Bringing Birth Home: Online Home Birth Preparation
Home Birth Preparation for women who want to enter birth feeling informed, steady, and deeply connected to themselves.
There is a quiet kind of confidence that emerges when a woman understands her body, trusts her instincts, and feels genuinely prepared for the day she meets her baby. Bringing Birth Home is designed to nurture exactly that not through overwhelm or rigid instruction, but through grounded, thoughtful guidance that returns you to your own inner knowing.
This is not a standard antenatal class. It is a personalised, spacious experience where your questions are welcomed, your preferences are honoured, and your vision for birth is held with care.
Together, we prepare not just for the event of birth, but for the profound threshold of becoming a mother.
Why Thoughtful Preparation Matters
Birth is emotional, physiological, and deeply human. When preparation speaks to both mind and body, something settles, uncertainty softens, partners step forward with clarity, and choices feel far less daunting.
You deserve to approach your home birth feeling calm, capable, and supported.

The Structure
Three private 90-minute sessions | Held online | Booked as a complete preparation series
Spacing the sessions allows time for reflection, integration, and meaningful conversation. Rather than information overload, you gain clarity — the kind that helps you breathe deeper when you think about birth.
Many women say this is the point where birth stopped feeling intimidating and started feeling deeply possible.
Who This Is For
Bringing Birth Home is for women planning a home birth who want more than a checklist. It is for those who value attentive care, balanced information, and a calm, experienced presence alongside them as they prepare.
Whether you are welcoming your first baby or seeking a different experience after a previous birth, you will be met exactly where you are.
What You Will Carry Forward
-
A stronger trust in your body
-
Greater emotional readiness for birth
-
A partner who knows how to support you
-
Clear understanding of your choices
-
Tools to stay grounded during labour
-
A deeper connection to your baby
-
A sense of calm anticipation
Not because birth can be perfectly planned — but because you will feel resourced enough to meet it with steadiness.
Preparation is not about controlling birth. It is about entering the experience informed, supported, and connected to your own strength.
When a woman prepares in this way, birth often becomes less about managing fear and more about allowing the process to unfold.
And that changes everything.

Homebirth Doula Support
Held at Home
Homebirth Doula Care for women who want to labour, birth, and welcome their baby in the place they feel safest - their own (available within 15 miles of WR2 Worcestershire)
Choosing a homebirth is rarely accidental. It is often a quiet, instinctive turning toward privacy, autonomy, and the kind of environment where a woman can soften rather than brace.
My role is simple and profound: to help you feel deeply supported, well prepared, and gently held as you move toward one of life’s most transformative thresholds.
This is steady, continuous care: the kind that allows you to focus on birth while someone experienced tends the space around you.
Care That Begins Long Before Labour
From the moment you book, you are not doing this alone.
You will have ongoing telephone support throughout your pregnancy and for the first two weeks after your baby arrives, a consistent place to bring questions, thoughts, excitement, or the occasional wobble. Sometimes reassurance is all that is needed; sometimes it is simply knowing someone is walking alongside you.

Should you wish for deeper, ongoing care, further visits can be arranged through my postpartum doula offering.
You will also receive 30% off any in-person classes or workshops, should you feel called to continued support or community.
Who This Support Is For?
This offering is for women who want more than someone “on call.”
It is for those who value relationship-based care, emotional steadiness, and the reassurance of an experienced presence in their home.
Whether this is your first baby or you are intentionally creating a different experience, you will be met with respect for your choices and trust in your capacity to birth.
What Many Women Notice
Not perfection. Not certainty.
But a deep exhale.
Because preparation has been thoughtful.
Because the space feels protected.
Because someone calm is there when it matters most.
And from that place, birth often unfolds with greater ease.
A Gentle Philosophy
Homebirth is not about recreating a clinical setting at home. It is about allowing birth to remain human, intuitive, and undisturbed wherever possible.
My work is not to lead your birth, but to support you in leading it yourself.
Availability: Limited each month to ensure every family receives attentive care - early booking advised!
Price: £1500 or book birth and postnatal care together for £2500 (payment plans available)
If you feel drawn to birth at home or find yourself quietly imagining it, trust that instinct. It is often the beginning of something very wise.
